Google China finally started to feel the impact of its departure from mainland china after many of its partners ended their relationship with the American search engine giant. Some of the search engines Research and Development (R&D) personal have jumped ship and its traffic and market share have decline substantially.

Baidu, China's largest search engine, confirmed that Wang Jin, former vice director of Google china Engineering Research Institute, has been named Baidu's vice president, and will be in charge of the company;s technology department.
Up until last month Google China's staff was reported to be relatively stable with personnel charges in sales and marketing department, but some competitors from market intent on luring the R&D personnel of Google China to join their companies.
Google currently contribute around 15 % of the traffic for domestic small and medium sized websites. The figure was 35% in January and February, 2010. By contrast Baidu's share of the search market soared from 50% to 75% in the first two month of 2010, confirmed Su Daode head of VPSite.org
